1987 Cbr Hurricane....Question

I have a 87' cbr and im havin problems with it blowin the fuse for the taillight and turn signals (same fuse). The LED's were on a switch but are now wired into the ignition (hot wire) and the ground goin to the battery. I took the fairings off a cpl wks ago and could find no bare spots in the wires and never saw where or if its grounding out somewhere. The LED's were on a switch but it went bad. So they are always on but when you hit the left turn they turn off and back on when you turn the left turn off.....WEIRD!! So if anyone could help me out for some beer plz all info and input would be and is greatly appreciated!!!!

Is this an integrated lense/turn signal set up?

Its on all the time because you have KL15(ignition on) signal running to it.

Sorry, got busy at work, didnt finish my edit:

If you have standarb bulbs for turn signals they may be drawing all the amperage away from the LEDs depending on how you have the circuit connected.

Sounds like you need someone to rewire the rear lights properly.

the fuse is the purpose-built weakest point of the system to save the wires and components from damage.

I wouldnt see a reason to have an additional switch if it was wired to key on power. I hope they wired the remainder of it properly. Sound a bit like a home repair, not professional.
