Fiddy w/6 Broke Spokes! What to Do?

Well it was a long weekend of 50 ridin as I convinced two of my long time friends to buy 50s again. So after much alcohol, parking lot sessions, road rash, evasion and a final trip to spring creek I have 6 broken spokes on my rear wheel and a death woble from . So does anyone have a good rear wheel for a 50? Should I just replace the spokes and hope its good, or try and get a new rear wheel?

Buchanan is the way to go. Have several bikes with those spokes. If they don't have it they will make it. Great people. My buddy Scott had an order messed up twice. They had the measurements wrong and he was waiting for a phone call back. Mr. Buchanan called him back to make sure Scott got what he needed.

You can't fit a 12' wheel on the back the tire will rub the swinger. Your best bet is to lace it up with some HD spokes or HD Spokes and a new wheel. Stay away from the Cheap Ebay as the spokes are like coffee straws on those wheels.

Haha 6 broken spokes in one weekend?

I'd recommend relacing the wheel with the heavy duty spokes like everyone else is saying. When you re-lace the wheel (or have it done for you) the rim will straghten back up where it should be.

definetly doing the hd spokes on it, i guess 170 pounds on mostly the rear wheel constantly mixed with jumps, berms, ruts and general abuse is what killed them. I could actually hear them snapping at one point! But then again the bike was made for a 6 year old, so whos to blame here?

I actually need to straighted up my rims as well, my rims are all out of whack.. I'm very suprised at how long they have held up over the last 3 years of my shinanigans.

They will straighten up if they are just untrue, but not if they are bent with a flat spot in them
