Any one got any personal reviews. Grandfather got it for my upcomming birthday. i am Using a 8500 but it gets to be a pain to remove it cuz of rain. But I don't want to open it yet. I do want good performance like with my 8500.

Can I get a mod to edit the title please. Posting from my phone. This site is very mobile unfriendly!

Change it to "TPX Radar & Laser Detector reviews"

If I see a L.E.O..... I know I'm being monitored.
Cool unit though!

TPX

I've had one on my R6 for several months now, and like it alot. The warning light is easily seen, especially at night. I wouldn't recommend the wireless headset - since it attaches inside your helmet without an earbud, you can barely hear it over your exhaust and road sounds. Put in your iPod earpiece, and the TPX alarm is completely blocked out. Otherwise, the oversized control buttons are nice for gloves-on use, and I like how quickly it detaches off its mount.

I've had a V1 on my cars for years, and felt naked without a radar on my bike. The TPX gives me a whole lot more peace-of-mind when I'm ridin' and watchin' out for the popo.
