Rides newb

Hi all
I'm 33, well 34 on the 8th and I have never done rides but as of late have been wanting to go on some to fill the time of my off days. I have a 04 GSX-R 1000 and don't stunt, daddy will not stunt on a bike he is making payments on:icon_smil , but watching other do it is fine.

Since I am new and I really don't go out much. How do the rides work? I am off on Wed/Thur and from reading some, Wed. seems to be a popular day to hit the roads. I don't know anyone here so what do I do, just show up?

thnx for any input all.

Mike...

also depends on what type of riding you want to do. turns or cruise or freeway battle?

Not my 1st bike, and I have had the MSF. TFA

I live in the LeagueCity, Dickinson, SantaFe triangle. and as far as ride style (turns or cruise or freeway battle) I can only for certain say I known what a cruise would be. Any help for what the other 2 are. Does a freeway battle involve "Mad Max" in any way.
Turns sounds like that may have to do with either taking turns following someone or some back road action..

Yes I was refering to the movie "Mad Max" just needed to know if a Freeway battle would include me wearing spikes and carrying many guns and knives. Well that for the warm welcome all and I will keep checking back to see if I can meet up with some peeps on Wed.
