Just my opinion, the zx14 is said to be a way smoother machine than the busa. And in stock form its also quicker. Ask Ricky Gadson what bike he prefers to win races with and I'm sure his answer will be the ZX14. So many peeps have their loyalty with the busa. The busa is still the King but at last, there is some serious competition for the Busa.

a v-max bud got one the last wednesday in April, reason i remember cause he rode it straight from stealer to hamburger wednesday in angleton. had i think 60 miles on it. I rode it about 10 miles up and back business 288.
The bike is ugly, BUT it seemed to be smoother than my busa. NO vibrations at all. Also seemed to be slightly more comfortable than my busa also. Did i say ugly? Seems the tach/speedo shows about everything but the nightly news. Did i mention that it is ugly tho?

I like the looks of it myself, and it seems to be bigger than the Busa. Still don't want one, but it would beat walking!!!

That don't really mean anything, those vides wise. Either go to the track or do the 1 mile shoot out, will still come down to the rider. At those high speeds busa coulda had differant sprockets giving it more low end grunt. ETC.
I tend to believe the pros testing than some guys out on the street.
Last i heard between the 2 was that they were almost identical in times, which means the better rider will win every time. My bud is now putting on a full system and power commander and i am hopping to get him to the track.
I will bet i will still beat him as i have maybe 50 passes between several bikes and he has ZERO.

If you get your buddy to the track with you, keep us posted on the results. I am real interested to know what you find out. I am really thinking of trading up my 900 for the 14.
