That's fine. Your a good, confident rider. We'll pick you up. Remember ride will be casual so I'd appreciate your help to fill gaps and keep the group together as we ride the roads.

I will have full write ups, directions, maps, pre-planning meals, hydration, camelback recommendations etc. I'll be bringing my small pack w a tow strap etc.

We're pretty covered. I get signal in all but two short areas so we should be golden.

AJ had good advice earlier about 80% tread; think about a 1k trip.... there will be a center strip when you're done w the ride lol. Plan accordingly w your known tire wear profiles.

I will leave someone to continue my ride if they end up doing something stupid for the sake of trying to convince everyone else they are cool. Accidents are a different story. Remember, you arent just around the corner if something goes wrong out there.

Feel free to boot me off the list if you think I'm a liability.

Seriously though - you're right... this distance in this amount of time is no joke. It's a challenge solo and then you add 9 or 10 other folks... that multiplies the risk exponentially. Any chance we could find anyone willing to chase with a trailer? I know it's kind of cheating... but...

I have people I could call but we would definitely compensate them for their time.

Again, if approved and on this ride it means we all trust the people we are riding with. I dont forsee problems and appreciate the PMs from peeps that signed up. Shows good character.

Great plan. I am planning a trip there in July and on my Birthday in Oct.
Some great stops are Wimberley(wimberly loop) great for lunch, Luchenbock (ride the bull), stone hinge, lone star motorcycle museum, Gardner state park(most visited park in TX), Enchanted Rock state park(climb the hill for great views). I have been there on sport and cruiser. I went on the Galveston ride on my V-ROD. Here are some crappy videos I put together from my trips, but some good photos of the area. Have fun and be careful.

You still ride?

FYI, my 09 600RR, which I dearly miss, is for sale at Stubbs and in need of a good home.

I'm not against turning down peeps that wanna trailer up there to ride w us leaving out of bandera. Just keep your list separate from our endurance list so we can keep a handle on our planning.

There will be other groups out there bring the beginning of the riding season.
