I took the clutch plates out and cleaned them and re-installed everything , it loosened the clutch so now you when the bike is in gear you can pull the clutch in and it will roll . if you try to start the bike with the clutch in and the kick stand up while it is in first it dies . If you start the bike in neutral with the kick stand up and click it into gear it dies . I put the bike on a rear stand so it would free up the rear tire just in case it the clutch was still dragging causing it stall and it still dies . I can pull the clutch give the bike some gas (like your drag racing) click it into gear and it dies . I've read there are 4 safety sensors for the bike to go into gear and we have ohm out the kick stand and the clutch switch from the computer to the diode to the computer
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

I'm going back out to Kingwood tomorrow evening after I drop my kids back off at there mothers house. We checked all the switches and they seem fine. I'm about ready to replace the computer. If there is no problems with the safety switches then what else could it be?...Any ideas?

You could always replace it with a Honda

Clutch safety switch?

When we bypass the kickstand and try to start it in gear it won't crank. The clutch switch ohms out. We have checked everything and it still dies when you put it in gear. Isn't it supposed to start in gear with the kickstand up? Nick's bike does with the kickstand up mine won't....Any ideas?

When you try to start it in gear, does it try to move?

The bike will not even attempt to engage the starter when in gear, the kickstand up and the clutch pulled in.

Unplug the two wires on the clutch switch. Then run a piece of wire between them. I'd bet that is where your problem is.

I jumpered the clutch switch and nothing . So we ohmed out the clutch switch from the plug to the clutch and it checked out good , so we ohmed out the clutch from the relay to the clutch and it checked out good

you have contact between the pins of the connector for the kick stand switch?

That seriously sounds like your problem.

The clutch switch would only be an issue if the kickstand was down; it acts as the safety for the system in the event neutral or kickstand isnt achieved.

+1 I thought the same thing , I checked voltage at the starter cut off relay and it sees the kick stand and the signal leaving the starter cut off relay goes to the clutch safety switch so i checked for voltage there and its good . The nuetral safety wasnt that big of a concern because it shows nuetral on the dash and the bike won't start without a confirmed nuetral . With the motor off and the kick stand up if you move the gear selector down twards first but do not let it engage the starter will not engage but you hear the relay click . The whole problem sounds 100% like the kick stand switch but the wires are jumpered and there is comfirmed voltage at the starter cut off relay

Does it jump forward when you put it in first?

Or does it feel like an electrical cut out, just dies?

its definitely electrical because you dont have to put the bike all the way into gear for it to cut out . With it in neutral you move the gear selector to first or second and it will reach a point where the bike isn't in gear but the stater cut off relay clicks , it shuts off . It sounds like its the kick stand switch but i took my meter and ohm'd from the plug to the kick stand and it shows a closed circuit , then you check it from the plug to the starter cut off relay plug and it shows complete . I found the out put wire for the kick stand that leaves the relay and checked the out put voltage for the kick stand and the signal is leaving the relay

but to answer your question cali , we had the bike on a rear stand and when you kick it into gear it does jump a little . I took the clutch assembly apart and cleaned the disk so you can push the bike while in gear with the clutch pulled in
