Dress Clothes on an SM?

My commute to work is only about 3 miles each way but I wear slacks and a long sleeve dress shirt. I am thinking I could toss my shoes in a backpack and wear my boots, put a textile jacket over my dress shirt, but how do I protect the pants from getting dirtied up by the chain? Putting the pants in a backpack would ruin the press.

Would overpants not ruin the press? I am unfamiliar with frog togs but will check it out.

Do you have some sort of locker or storage at work?
Take your vehicle one day and keep about 4 pairs of slacks at work.
Wear jeans on your commute then a quick prest-o change-o at work and you're golden.

, just keep the shirts there too.
Minty clean when you put 'em on.

We have a small office to ourselves, a gym, showers, personal lockers and drawers etc here at work.

unless the pants are compressed in your backpack you should be fine, assuming they aren't some super easy wrinkle pants. I throw my slacks and dress shirt in my backpack and make sure nothing is putting pressure on them and I'm fine

If you don't have a place to change at your office, the other option is to wear over-pants, and buy some LL-Bean or Dockers wrinkle resistant slacks. Believe me, even after being stuffed into a suitcase for 12 hrs, they come out just-pressed perfect.

Another option is an Aerostich Roadcrafter-type oversuit.
If you can afford it, I hear it's the best out there.

ride my neighbors harley cuz he doesnt ride it

i commute to the med center from 290 and i have to dress up with slacks and a dress shirt with tie every other day. i just bring 3 dress shirts and leave em in my cubicle locker on mondays ( i drive my truck). i wear a white tee shirt under my textile jacket when i commute on the bike and when i get to work i have a emergency grooming/shower kit for a fix up of hair and grooming.
