salvage title?

Would you buy a bike with a salvage title? I've seen some here and elsewhere that looked good. Yea, I suppose it would take a pretty keen eye to be certain the frame wasn't bent or anything, but in many cases if someone put on new plastic and fixed any other issues .....

your thoughts....

I've owned many many salvaged bikes. Always make sure u look over real well and make sure it rides good. U can usually get them cheap but downside is ur gonna sell them cheap too. I've nvr had a problem getting them registered Inspected or insured.

Just make sure it looks straight, rides straight, and the frame doesn't look beat up.
It may not matter to you, but banks wont finance a salvage title bike.
