What if you see the headlight and you think it's a bike and you wave and they don't wave back, then when you pass them and realize it was a scooter/moped,who feels more like a dork? I try to wave all the time, but some guys follow too close to the cage in front of them, sometimes shifting goin thru the lights/stopsigns, so I don't allways wave, sometimes when I'm in the cage I'll wave, it's just habit.

I will wave when I can. If they are in the far lane of I45 I probably won't. I don't feel grumpy if they don't wave back unless they aren't in traffic and should be able to see me easily. Let me see if I can find the "reciprocity" quotient article...

If its safe, I'll wave... and to anyone.

I usually get a response, as mentioned in the other threads about waves some sportbikers rarely get a response from cruisers... make sure you wave w more then one finger

And remember, Azylum is internationally known for the hello kitty wave thanks to the canadian bike group loving is video

Infact, Im about to go ride now. I'll count wavebacks and post up my ratio when I return

I wave to everyone on a motorcycle. I will waive back to scooters too.

I have noticed the cruisers that have women in the group or on the bikes, they will waive. When it is a group of guys, they don't waive. They bein too cool to waive.

Or maybe the "too cool" guys are too cool to get themselves a woman.

I dont remember the link. I do have videos of Azylum on forest rides doing the 'hello kitty' wave everytime lol.

We use to mess w Harley guys cuz they wave by dropping their hands all the way down.... anyone notice this?

I guess their arms are so weak from riding they dont have the strength to keep their hand up w all the wind resistance?

...can anyone confirm or deny that has a cruiser please...
