kikker hardknock bobber?!?!?!

do any of you guys or gals know anyone who owns one of these. ive been watching these for 3years now, ever since the 50cc version and would be a fun putter in the new 250cc v-twin coming out. more of me just wants to cut it up and see what exactly i can customize and i dont exactly want to go cutting on a 10k+ v-twin.

also closest showroom/dealer is near austin that ive found, anyone know of one closer so i dont have to pay $115 shipping fee's.

one more thing was it a big hassle with the DMV getting it leaglized and road worthy.

not to be rude but ive always looked at these as not a "real" bike but seeming how i already own a bike or 2 on any given day and frankly just dont give a d@mn what anybody thinks anymore im probably gona get one real soon. here comes the cutting tourch!!!!

I saw a few rolling thru Firendswood and they are cool as . I have been looking at them for a while as well. I think it would be a cool around town cruiser.

They are a 100% chineese knock off of a a American icon. Buy a old iron head and build it. You'll have the exact same amount of money into it and
50hp instead of 15.

I have a half built Ironhead in the garage I'll sell you...

(FWIW, If I was going to go the metric route I'd do a rebel with a blue collar bobbers kit. http://bluecollarbobbers.com/web/ind...hk=1&Itemid=24)

Here you go, craigslist is awsome:

http://houston.craigslist.org/mcy/1632253008.html

By the way you might consider an older metric chopper, my xs650 is great and cb750 are pretty easy to come by as well. Just search for "bobber" in craigslist.

You realize they're not full size bikes right? they're 3/4 bikes. I looked into them also untill i heard about the size, and difficulty of getting them legal.

good find $200 off original price and i could save an additional $115 on shipping.

the whole purpose of this build is just a quick build for me and my father to do incase " forbid" this cancer gets the best of me. if i knew i had a few years to source down parts and had alittle bit bigger budget (ie my pops wanted to go half and half on price) i would just ahead and do it right and build a shovlehead on a frame like this http://www.demonscycle.com/Frames-Ro...-p3880584.html

to bad ive read way to-many "NEGATIVE REVIEWS" about this shady company because the price is way cheap.
