Have you dont the r6 throttle tube? Its cheap. I am not sure I noticed a difference though.

I've done it on my Gen 1 ... personally it's more comfortable for me when I'm at the track just becuase I don't have to wring the throttle 20 times around just to get to the stops.

I had a 1st gen sv that was awesome. Throw a dale walker holeshot pipe on the sv and take it to the track and you'll be good to go. The bikes are amazing and very affordable.
