this thread is now about the sv650

ROFLSV650
i love tossing this macro i made out to whichever thread seems to be going into sv territory.
it seems like the perfect beginners sportbike, but it is also great for the more advanced. i have not taken my sv to the track but it seems there is a healthy track day/racing following with the sv. these bikes are a lot cheaper to buy and maintain than a ___600_ and i think that you are more noticed on one. i mean sure an r6 looks cool, but they all look the same. i was in conroe yesterday and saw 4 blue r6's and it was pretty much just blah.
but yeah. sv650. the kawasaki 650R guys have their little army, i think we need a mob. this thread is about sv650's, contribute:

no offense taken. my 1st winter with the sv was a harsh one where i cursed the bike for not having fuel injection. as for visuals and frame differences, i prefer the 1st gen naked. the 2nd gen s model is pretty hot, too.

Right now looking for either an SV or a 650R for the track. I really like the second gen too, but right now price is the biggest consideration.

I love seeing them with 50k miles or more. One dude was selling his for cheap until I found out it had 60+k miles. paint still looks good though.

I was seriously considering an Sv for my second bike but got Blondie because of the great deal.

i dont like a lot of how my sv sounds when im puttering around town. i dont think my yoshi can was an improvement over stock, and wish i had kept the stock can. if anyone wants to swap out pipes and cans and gain a slightly beat up yoshi rs3 can hey lets do it.
when im really flying down country roads i do like how my bike sounds. it just sounds so off and ... hm... good.

I LOVE it! I love the sound, too. I can't wait to ride again. It's agony looking at my bike on the lift and knowing that I just have to wait.

Why do you say it's ratty? And I see the 'chopped' can just looks like you have no can - straight pipe.
