I do not see a reason to be violent at first. I personally would just walk up and ask them to please get off the bike. We shall see if I say this when I get the new bike.

How do you know that baby doesn't know how to drive a bike? You should have punched it.

i'd take it trough the use of force ladder (bike edition)
clearly issue a 'GTFO!!!'. if that doesnt work, lethal force is authorized.
i think i might cuff him to my bike's frame, push him off the saddle and hop on and take off...

F..k all that nice guy stuff. That's the same as someone putting their hands on my girl. Running or not is not even the issue. He would just have to find out the hard way that he chose the wrong bike to sit on that day.

I walked outside of my old apartment to find some 18-19 year old punk sitting on my old 600rr and a few of his little buddies just standing around it. This wannabe thug quickly got off the bike after he saw steam coming out of my ears and my fists in a ball walking toward him. Rather than knocking his teeth out, i just said, "don't ever let me catch you touching my bike again." and no more issues.

I don't have very much self control with like that. To me that fvcking with my money and what i've busted my for. To me, that person has already crossed the line even if no damage has been done on the bike.

Well the question was posed assuming you left the door unlocked, but I understand what you're saying.

I'm not saying you should just walk up and start pounding, but on the other hand, I don't particularly feel the need to be very nice about telling the guy to get the off my bike.

Thank you very much - and I mean that sincerely. I've loved the Road Glide since the Tour Glide was introduced. Finally got to the point I could own one.

Nice to see not everyone on MH has a hardon against HDs...

+! What cedestech said. If this is a coworker, and you plan on having a career at that company, you'd be better off assessing the situation a little more, lest you be unemployed (not to mention the would probably sue and win).

If it wasn't a coworker, and the guy showed attitude once I made it clear he was on my bike (bike running or not), I WOULD put him down. Safety first.

This sounds terrible but I often fantasize about kicking a small baby at the airport. It's one of those, "I wonder what the parents will do to me" things. jailbait2

Really shouldn't mention this online...
In fact the ONLY person you should ever tell this to, is you therapist.

Leaving your running and not being on it is ballsy... period! Basically saying "bet ya won't..." to anyone wondering if they could get away with it.

Just giving you a hard time. I've seen the movies and I've been known to quote my share, but saying I would f*** you in the street is a bit scary... not a quote I might use often. Of course, I'm a girl, so I probably wouldn't use it all. But then again it may be funny if I were to say it.

I agree- I would NEVER leave my bike sitting running (except in my driveway while I'm gearing up) unattended. Stupid. Asking for it to be stolen.

I may not be on here ALL the time, but I know how you work. And to be fair I didn't say I would **** him in the street. Just threw that out there!

I think this type of situation warrants heavy usage of the F bomb!!!! Kind of helps get the point across.
