I've had this happen at work more than once........bike not running but finding people sitting on it.........EVERY time I didn't need to say anything. They jumped off of it like it was on FIRE and moved on, kinda like kids that have gotten caught playing show and tell.
I wasn't happy but like Dave said........I've been hauled off in cuffs before for acting a fool and it just ain't that much fun.

Either way, their physical action of messing w my person stuff requires an additional further action from me.

Watch him closely. Don't intercede unless it looks like there will be damage to the bike in some way. Then quietly follow him back to his car to know what he drives. Wait a few days. Then on his hood.

Nothing says "You really someone off" like a mammoth jobby on your hood.

I'm trying to get past someone being stupid enough to leave their bike running in a parking lot while they go inside.

Quote:
Among other reasons, you considered it in a safe location and you could see it from the window.
Right, these things do 0-60 in 3-4 seconds? Going to run and jump through the window in order to catch em before they ride off?

Beyond that... my inclination is to go sit on the hood of their car and see how long it takes for em to get the hint.

Don't be ugly or violent. Especially if you and the guy both work there.
He may just be really stupid. It happens. I'd walk up and introduce myself and ask him to get off my bike please,
it's very rude to get on someones bike. He may not even understand it is rude till you tell him it is.

If he's a , you can be a . He just may be stupid and need to be schooled on manors.

If you are a you may have problems with your scooter when you park it there in the future...

Even if you are in the right doesn't mean walking up on your bike laying on it's side later will feel any better...

yeah! If they are sitting on your bike while it is running you basically get a legalized free shot. Just run up and take his head off.

Exactly, there is no such thing as a safe location for a bike left running with the keys in it. Whoever posted this question on the other site is a moron to being with.

But I will say that, there is a big difference between some random dumbass climbing on my bike, and some random dumbass climbing on my bike while it is running. If my bike is running, and someone is on the bike that I did not give permission, my first reaction is going to be to think they are attempting to steal it.

But then again, as said, I am not so ****ing stupid as to leave my bike running in a parking lot and go back inside while it "warms up".

I think alot of people strayed from the original topic. This was about a CO-WORKER sitting on your bike.

I think a "Get off the bike now, and please don't ever touch it again" would be professional yet aggresive enough to get your point across.

I dunno about a stranger, I'd have to experience it. When one of you actually smokes someone who is casually sitting on your bike in public with witnesses, let me know how that goes for you though....

What would I do........

And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was death, and followed with him. – Revelation 6:8

You all know that there are only 10 truly bad Mfkers in the world. You know the type - Chuck Norris, the prison gang leader, Samuel Jackson in Pulp Fiction....... The ones that would rip your head off, kill you dead and tag team your mom, sister and your dog
That's right - I get Valentines day cards from 9 of those Puss*es.

Now GTF OFF my bike or I will hit you with my Weenie.
