i am 100% that the 750 is a faster bike. but what im saying is that what you do to your bike its what matters. pluss the rider!!! cant drive a car with out steering wheel can you?
im done here!!!!
now back to where can i find a place to dyno my bike???
thanks everyone...
Bolt on mods are not that impressive on bikes.

I do not race or act like I race on internet, just wanted my bike to run as good as possible.
Had the bike tuned at Jonny Cheeze shop in Round Rock near Austin.
After tuning I picked up a few HP and TQ which wasn't that big of a deal.
What was a big deal was the mpg was improved, throttle response was much much much improved, and bike ran much less hot.
Guess I missed the post where you were talking about max HP and racing as others have discussed. As stated above there are many advantages to having a bike tuned, and in my experience HP and TQ were on the bottom of the list. If it were me I would focus on who does the best job and less on who does it for the best price. I was more than pleased with what I got for my money-safer bike to ride, better mileage, less heat on hot day. Sounds to me like this is what you are looking for. If you had posted up about racing and who is the fastest, my advice would be to buy a faster bike to begin with or improve rider skill.
yes thats what is that im lookig for have my bike running the way it should. im not trying to make it faster than a r1 or something like that i just wanna have it tunned so that it runs the way it should. if i want to go fast ill get me a 1000 but thats not what i want. love my r6 the way that takes coners and looks so all i want is have my bike tuned right and get it dont the right way, i knwo that you get what you pay for but if there is a place that is charging me 500$$ to have it tune and dyno and there is another place that would do the same thing for 300$$ then i wanna know.
thanks

Andy @ Metric Motorcycles (its his shop) did a CUSTOM tune for $200. He did over 50 runs on the dyno, tuning it throughout the RPM range and in every gear. It took almost 3hrs to do... he was quite thorough. I would certainly prefer that over a generic downloaded map.

The throttle response was amazing, it was VERY smooth. My '08 will be getting the same treatment, from the same guy/shop (though I might go with Bazazz instead of the PC)!
