im not doing this to make my bike go fast. its fast already.... but i really like to get things done the right way. i mean really would you put some aftermarket parts on your car to make sound good like a exhaust and some other mods but not tune your car to the performance you have.?? like some people that put all this aftermarket parts but dont ever get their car tune then they are having alot of problems with their car and other things just because all they did its put parts on it and think thats all it really needs.
i can take a gsxr750 on the track and the street any day any time. but i just want my bike to runn the way it should. right now its running like becuase its not tunned

sorry but tuneing is not cheap, plus you are asking them to install the pc , i would say 350 is a good price ,

or are you just wanting the pc installed and a simple pc map downloaded to the bike ?

if all you want is a map downloaded i can do that install and down load , easy !

i payed 400 flat for the dyno tune , and that was no pc or bazzaz , it was a ecu flashing ! but the dyno tune is deff the way to go !

right, so you on a 750 should theoretically be faster then you on a 600

the 750 is a faster bike, PERIOD

you have may been a better rider then the 750 you lined up w/, but i guarantee there are 750 riders better then you, and they'd win

so yes the rider is more important then the bike.

yes it is a faster bike but also its what you have done to the bike that matters. im not saying that my r6 is way faster than the 750 but what you can do to the bike its whats so crazy about it. one of my buddy did so much to his 750, lined up with a r1 and smoked it..... r1 was not even close to catching up with the 750,
i am 100% that the 750 is a faster bike. but what im saying is that what you do to your bike its what matters. pluss the rider!!! cant drive a car with out steering wheel can you?
im done here!!!!
now back to where can i find a place to dyno my bike???
thanks everyone...

it all depends on who is riding that matters..... usually the people that i ride with that have R1s are pretty fast and there is no way in your friend on a 750 is going to even see their tail light 2 turns down the road..... Put Rossi on a 250 and he is still faster than me on a liter bike lol

if your trying to wring all you can out of the bike then quit moanin and biotchin bout the 350 for a dyno tune, just put the thing in and upload the map, if it still sux then dyno tune it, and if a 6 will run a 750 its cause the guy on the 750 has a limp wrist PERIOD! there are no minor mods that will give a 6 the HP of a 750 nor the 750 the HP to run a 1000, just a fact of engineering and life. and if ya think you can tune a 1000 that will run a ferari I want some of what your smoking, I need to escape reality for a while I will however except 600's that have been turned to the darkside and have a 20g motor for the track, and the unlimited supersport for the track too (800 cc 190+hp 240+mph)

Where you should go really just depends on your location. If your on the S. side go see Billy at Tejas. A map is 200-250 I think.

Had my bike tuned after similar mods for exact same reason. After similar mods was not pleased with how bike ran with 3 or 4 generic maps. Gas mileage went to (which really didn't matter) but jerky throttle response was something I could not live with. I do not race or act like I race on internet, just wanted my bike to run as good as possible.
Had the bike tuned at Jonny Cheeze shop in Round Rock near Austin.
After tuning I picked up a few HP and TQ which wasn't that big of a deal.
What was a big deal was the mpg was improved, throttle response was much much much improved, and bike ran much less hot.
Guess I missed the post where you were talking about max HP and racing as others have discussed. As stated above there are many advantages to having a bike tuned, and in my experience HP and TQ were on the bottom of the list. If it were me I would focus on who does the best job and less on who does it for the best price. I was more than pleased with what I got for my money-safer bike to ride, better mileage, less heat on hot day. Sounds to me like this is what you are looking for. If you had posted up about racing and who is the fastest, my advice would be to buy a faster bike to begin with or improve rider skill.

Tejas or Eastside Honda are both good. Call a few shops and see if they have a map for your bike/exhaust combo already. If they have done one before they have a base map already and it dosnt take as long to get yours dialed in. If you can find that it is usualy a lil cheaper.

Secret Services. Good people and a good tuner. The Mustang dyno will show a bit lower HP numbers but who cares you just need a good tune.
