State farm FTW!

Also, Dairyland insurance was fairly cheap too.
Dairyland has been going up on prices. mine increased from $500 a year to $979 in 2 years. no tickets or accidents. Thats for full coverage

You guys need to make sure you are getting everything in your quotes. Some say full coverage but have no collision coverage...

Progressive was pretty cheap for full coverage on my f4i + an extra 5k in accessory insurance. I wanna say it was just a bit under 100 a month. not bad for a 26 year old with 2 speeding tickets.

That being said they paid out and cut a check to my house when it got stolen in under 10 days. Now that's service worth paying for.

+1, make sure you compare apples to apples

In addition, be aware that Progressive has new wording in their policy that strictly prohibits any "closed course events including track days" meaning you won't be covered during a trackday or even during an ERC.

I have progressive simply out of convenience.

I've heard nothing bad about SF and will eventually lean that way.

SF is not convenience at all. My friend have full coverage/ road side assistant and such. She accidentally left her car key in the car and closed the door. the car locked by itself. Not only did SF did not help her, they didn't atleast give her contact number. "Just call a lock smith"

Also SF have a problem with saying people doesn't have a valid DL when clearly all the other company even DPS even say it is valid.

I might save 5.00 a month going with SF, but not worth the hassle. Progressive FTW and they will show up if anything happen.

I pay $387 a yr through geico for full coverage...I don't understand all of the logistics behind their rate decisions. I know age is a big factor, but it seems they just try to gouge anyone willing to bend over.

I have to work on the service side w progressive.

If you knew the corners they cut down to getting used parts/engines/panels etc from junk yards to fix your bike/car( I work for factory BMW) you'd think twice. They refuse gaskets, necessary bolts and even fluids... so we have to charge someone, usually the customer.

Bikewise, Im content w them since if I do make a claim its either unsalvageable or stolen.

Aftre the hurricane they showed up to look at the bikes. Then a couple days later they asked to meet me and cut a check on the spot. It was above market value and I couldn't be happier.

Of course not everyone has the same experience. It's really hit or miss and Cali and I just both have had good experiences thus far.

Me, too, since 2004. I also have liability only on my bike ('03 SV650) for under $100/year. It's a toy and it's paid for, so there isn't a lot of sense having full coverage on it.

Progressive insures my SV for $96/year.

I've filed one claim with Progressive - their concierge service is unbeatable! We dropped the truck off with them, they did the estimate, sent it out for repairs, called when it was ready. They even off a rental car at the time of drop-off. We couldn't have been happier with the ease and care of service with them.

I also have a life insurance policy that I bought through Tuan! If he can get you a better deal, he will!
