I can't believe what GEICO quoted me on some bikes.

SO I called them just for kicks to quote three bikes I have in mind to replace the Buell.

All three would have comprehensive and collision with a 1000 deductible ffor a year just like my 1125cr.

Triumph Street Triple $857.00

Hyosung gt250r (in case i get bitten by the 2 fiddy bug) $840.00

And for kicks, a Buell 1125r, $829.00, only 7 dollars more than the CR

What gives? the Hyosung has only 230 cc's

K8 Hayabusa (STOLEN)

I called GEICO when I was purchasing my K8 Hayabusa, and the quoted me $5k/year. I asked if the agent might have been mistaken and she said no. I told her, in three years, I could use that money to purchase another brand-new bike, and I recall her mentioning forms of payment. At that moment, I disconnected the call.

So, they claim to insure motorcycles, but I believe they keep the cost so high that they will not have to insure motorcycles.

I had Geico, and they were cheap ($124/yr liability), but switched to Progressive, as the beat Geico by ~$35/yr. I have been with Progressive for the last 4-5 years with liability and theft.

I switched to State farm from Allstate becuase i got full coverage on my bike and truck together for much less than what i was paying for JUST my truck at Allstate.

State farm FTW!

Also, Dairyland insurance was fairly cheap too.

When I got the Buell I got quotes from Dairyland, Progressive and Allstate, all significantly higher than Geico.

And I tried Tuan months ago when I got the Cube, he sent me a PM asking for some mroe info, sent it to him and he never got back to me.

Pfffffft............Got 6 bikes total through them, lowest prices by far. Plus I've received several emails from students telling me they got lower prices thru Geico.

They just didn't like you.
