May sound silly but you never know.

Ive seen people go down and not have their wallet on them; its in the back and the seat came off; in a tank bag that was scattered etc. This way any pocket they check I have ICE in it, one over my license and one on my helmet.

This has EPIC story all over it. Matt you should borrow my Go Pro and vid some stuff.

When I took my roadie to Arkansas I had ICE info in every bag/pocket in case I blew up.

, wish I could go but I've got work. Longest day I ever did was 1k, of course I did that on a dual-sport so it was way more comfortable than the sportbike. I'd like to do some more medium-long distance stuff this year, just went to Port Aransas and back this weekend (SPRING BREAK!). Maybe I can join you next time.

BTW, I have my ICE info permanently on my helmet. I used a silver paint pen so it shows up pretty well. I have my ICE#, blood type, and "NKDA" , med-speak for "No Known Drug Allergies" (my g/f is in med school and suggested it). I had to have the ICE# on my helmet for a car race I did a few years ago and thought it was such a great idea I just did it permanently.

I just put together an almost identical plan from Canyon Lake though - at it looks like 7-8 hours from there (that's N of New Braunfels). But I'm thinking about stops, lunch, sightseeing too... I guess it's possible to do what you're planning, but kind of a marathon-version pace instead. Hope you have a great time! Look forward to the pics.
