Run Crabb River down to FM1462 take a left and cross the brazos River and turn left on CR42 (first blacktop road), take CR 42 to FM521 then turn around and do it again.
be careful on CR-42 because it's not the best surface to run on.

come on now, i know you didn't just tell someone to take that bumpy as$ bypass through WEBSTER of all places (worst cops around) at at least 120 mph. ya know, about a week after they opened it, a guy was doing just that, lost control of his bike, due to the horrible waves in the road, slammed into one of the light posts that's mounted to the middle concrete barries, and splits his body right in half plus it's only 1 decent turn...hardly comparable to the forest, even for around here. try hitting up some roads about 15 miles towards Baytown, you'll have more luck with the roads out there...less cops too

Be VERY careful on CR42, bad surface and local traffic. It is neat though.

Find your own road. Load a back back with snacks and drinks and make sure you have plenty of gas money and just head out towards middle of nowhere Brazoria county.

It's a great mental health exercise...

I gotta say this...

Most of the interchanges have grooved pavement. As you are riding you don't really notice but, after the concrete is dry they use a saw machine to cut grooves across the surface to give better wet traction.
This is fine for cars in rainy weather but if you try to push too hard on your bike in the dry you will find there is approx. 25% less traction than if there were no grooves. Add some dust or dirt and it gets worse.

I know from experience, when I stopped sliding and limped over to pick up my bike I saw the grooves for the first time.
