i cleaned the carbs(bathed them), put new spark plugs, new oil filter, changed the oil, charged battery and still no GO! i even tryed starting fluid and still wouldnt give me a kick.there is compression coming out the exhaust.

im sitting here scrathing my head what to try next? anyone?

List of items replaced doesn't mention gas. Are your running fresh gas?

Have you checked for spark? Kill switch position, etc.

I second the GAS.

I paid a tow truck $90 to tow my old Ninja 500 to Motorcycles Unlimited back when I was a total noob (as opposed to reg noob now). The night it died, I ended up pushing it about a mile back to my GF's house.

Patrick flipped the tank to reserve and the bike started right up.

It only got 100 miles for the tank of gas, so I thought there was just no way the gas ran out lmao... but I think maybe I bumped the thing.

Still... gas gas gas...

also check the lines for old gummed up . If it's not getting the gas down to the carbs, it won't matter how well you clean them

pull vac on rear of fuel petcock, it shall flow. check spark, if no spark check ign fuse in fuse box. spray some eather in air box underneath the seat will help suck the gas in. if bowls are dry.

yz117, If you sprayed starting fluid into the carbs and the engine didn't bark, it's electrical.
