+1 for another local rider of College Station. University has to be the worse road to navigate. I'm sure there are others but I've had some really close calls on University drive.

well we all went out and did some burnouts, made some noise, and smoked some marlboro no 27's (his fav) just like chris would want. I know he is looking down here smiling, feeling sorry for us all as he is the one who got the better deal. I just wish it had not been his time to go right now.

please send prayers to his family and friends, this is going to be really hard for them...

I'm sorry to hear about your friend. That's an awful way to go.
I hope if my day ever comes too soon at least some friends of mine celebrate like you did. Its also what I would want.
We're rarely able to choose our death but hopefully make better decisions as to how we live.

i just dont even know what to do or say right now, i havent seen his parents yet and i dont know what i would do if i saw them. im just still in shock over all this. i feel like he is going to text or call and this is all going to be one ****ed up dream. i just cant get it out of my head, i watched the whole thing happen and it just keeps replaying over and over in my head.

also, it was one of my bikes that he was on. there is nothing left of the bike, the neck was cracked off and it looked like the motor mounts on the head were ripped off. so i dont even know what happens to the bike or whatever. im assuming when they find this hoe guilty, her insurance will take care of it? do i need to do anything in the meantime?

I say take all that frustration out in a positive way. Chase this btch down the legal way. Don't let anything slip through the cracks. See what her insurance covers as far as your friend's funeral expenses and your bike. Follow up with the law and find out what the extent of her liability and punishment is.
I keep reading that CS drivers are and don't pay attention to the road, other drivers or riders. Make something positive out of this if you can.

Thank you to all of the people who expressed kindness, compassion, and sympathy above. It is very much appreciated.

I feel certain that Leo, Cindi, and Lauren (his immediate family) and his close friends will need all of this strength and more. I believe Chris was an only son and leaves a young sister behind. This time will be extremely hard on their family.

I also pray for peace for the other family involved, as there were young children in that Surburban that witnessed (and were a part of) this horrific, unfortunate event. My son (the Trav) as well, as this is a truly a horrible thing to witness. May 's peace be on all involved!

I could not bear to have to see Chris' family at this time, as I know the pain must be truly unbearable. Keep Chris, his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers. Although, Chris is truly in a better place.

RIP Chris.... wheelie on!

RIP, and I have been there and it sucks, no one knows how it feels till it actually happens to you. I had come back to a accident of a board member that died, and to this day it is always on my mind. Something that I will never forget and I wear a band on my wrist at all times with his name and MH board name ect. It is hard and only thing that will help is to talk to others about it and time.
