i change my own but when i changed the one that came with the bike i had to use a 18" pipe wrench! idk why people put these on so tight! firm hand tight is all u need! no more than a half turn after hand tight! i always just hand tighten mine and it always works good for me. i dont even have to take off fairing! the k&n oil filter has a nut at the end of filter makes it alot easier!
