You guys slay me....

He says he will take MSF, yet he is out riding each day without and talking about going out onto the main street, then I45.

He should have started on a much smaller bike. I will keep pushing MSF...

Put yourself in a new potential rider's eyes.... you want it flashy, cool color and something hot w a rear seat for obvious reasons.

Then when comparing them you hear 600... 750.... 1000.... oh snap! I gotta have the bigger one I'll be faster on it!

We ALL have been there, even if just for a moment.

I know people on this board that started on a 1k and they are doing great. The difference is the rider. If you dont have the control to limit your riding to your OWN limit, then a smaller bike will provide more foregiveness.

You're a stand up guy Aaron I could imagine even see your genuine facial concerns as I read about you speaking to the mother.

I'll admit the first bike I ever rode was a Honda CBR f4. without any bike experience i'll say the power literally scared me. I knew at that point i'd learn on a 250 before ever getting back on suck a powerful machine.

i bought my 650 cause it had more ccs than a 600(not even realizing the cylinder shortage lol) i called my friend that had just got a 600 and was like im gonna beat you in a race,he was like, k, i got off the phone and asked the guy selling me the bike if mine would beat his and he told me no.... i was sad..... but 3 years and 50k later i still love it, and wont get rid of it for anything... i am gonna get another super moto though
