I've thought about not responding but you guessed it I'm going to.

Of course I wasn't on your in the corners, there are rocks on that road. It was announced at the riders meeting.

And Yes, you do know how to ride. You didn't fall down once the whole route. The problem was that you not only know how to ride you know how to use your brakes and were doing a lot of that before every corner. If you keep up in the corner, you won't be gapped on the straights.

Don't be mad because you got passed by someone riding 2up. You got passed by 2 bikes both riding 2up. I don't want to hear any "he's on a 1000" either. The group leader was on a 600 and he didnt' get passed. You left the door open deal with it. You weren't the only one to get hit with rocks, one rider got a busted radiator. Everyone got rocks. If you don't like being passed then start in the back. There's a no passing in corners rule or you would have been passed long before you were.

Don't get on the internet and throw rocks just because you got hit by some on the streets.

First off I am glad you did respnd. Second off, if you noticed, I kept a good space between me and Deano so that I could take the corners faster. Deano kept a pretty soft pace for everyone and I was simply spicing it up for myself. By no means did I care if they passed me riding 2up. I just didn't appreciate (like others that brought it up to me) the way the person rode throughout the route with complete disreguard for others safety. It was a simple statement of how I didn't like getting hit with the rocks because he was riding on the yellow line. Ya'll need the chill and stop taking words with such offense.

1. This was a ride, not a race
2. A little common courtesy towards fellow riders goes a long way

Not to add to the match but it did happened to me a couple of times by a couple of riders I didn't know. I'm behind a slower rider someone passes me and sits in front of me. I just deal with it instead of moaning about it. Part of riding with a group IMO.

I usually do not pass with riders I do not know. I don't want them to try to pick up their pace and follow me into a corner too hot for their ride.

Thanks for the great ride guys. Since this was my first ride with a group and i've only been on a bike since Dec, it seemed really fast!! i had no problem hanging out in the back, it was all fun.

Got a little nervous on the straights trying to keep up, but just learned to run at my own pace.

Thanks for the great hospitality and an afternoon of fun. Wish I could have stayed for the bbq, but I to get some done at home.

Can't wait for the next one!

Some of yall should just stick to the forest, with the noob group, if you can't ride up front and throw the rocks.

Or stop complaining.

My 08 1000RR got beat to in the Hill Country. Way worse than some little fayetteville rocks. I smiled about it.

LOL at this thread.
