I'm sure there is much more to this that the Mods or site owner have to take into consideration. I was waiting till the end of the day to see if there would be any explanation from the suits but I guess not. I'm not bashing it, just curious what the actual legit reasoning was.

Motorcycle board up for years and years for the betterment of Houston riders.
Bike theft is rampant and people off left and right.
Hundreds of bikes stolen with very slim possibility of getting them back.
We hear about the marvels of LoJack ALL the time.
We hear how some people are actively looking for these thieves.
We create an entire subforum just for stolen bike reports.
We promise to keep our eyes open for your stolen bike.

The first recorded time that LowJack works, someone posts a thread, bikes are recovered and everyone finally celebrates... then the thread is taken down?

Counterintuitive to me, but like I said... I dont know all the facts.

To the O.P. can you tell everyone what you had to do for the recovery of your bike ie detective you called , where you had to go to claim . How come the people who have had there t stole aren't all over this . I dont have anything vested in this but i hate a thief and would at least like to see peeps get there stuff back

Eh... honestly I've gotten luck so far *knock on wood* with my bike not being bothered, but i've had 2 cars broken into 4 times so thieves me off.

I guess I had kinda made a small keyboard effort to keep bike thefts and prevention in the spotlight. Doesn't feel like the effort is really worth it.

I'll just worry about that one gixxer in my garage from now on.

If it's the thread i'm thinking of...they posted it was found, with several other bikes at a storage lot, because one of the other bikes had lojack?

Presuming so, I would hazard a guess because the discussion seemed to diverge to accusations that the 'lot' the bikes were at, was involved in the theft.
