2008 Yamaha R6 STOLEN :<

Left for work at 8AM and when I came home at 6PM it was gone Stolen from my apartment and couldn't have been towed because the towing service contracted with the apartment home doesn't tow during the day.

Insurance-wise... I had full coverage but recently I switched over to something cheaper because I basically never ride now so I have to check what coverage I have. Hoping I have theft coverage If anyone sees a BLACK 2008 YAMAHA R6 please let me know right away. Or if you guys have any questions feel free to PM me or text me.

Not trying to be sarcastic or bashing you. May I ask why you didn't take more measures to keep your bike safe? Did you think it wouldn't happen to you? Do you live in a fairly "safe" neighborhood? Had you seen any of the previous stolen bike threads?
I'm just curious why with so much bike theft more people don't take preventive measures. Maybe most people don't think it's gonna happen to them.
Sorry about your bike dude, it was a pretty nice looking ride. Btw... I thought it had already sold? Someone had posted "new owner".

Doesn't matter what you do. If a thief wants your bike, they're going to find a way to get it. Insurance is the most effective way to protect your investment.

True... not saying anything is theft proof, but when you leave a bike out in the open in an apartment parking lot and you're not at home, that's just making it too easy.
My bike has a cable, disk lock, alarm (as of 2 days ago, woot) and is garaged. It could happen to me but, which would be an easier target?
