As for the not being on a public roadway... c'mon lmao. He didn't sleep at the gas station and have his bike delivered there. Should he have told the cop that he wasn't on a public road way? No. Then you got a off cop who now is looking even harder for stuff to pin on you and he's gotta wait for you to leave and you don't want to. So, after some wasted time, you leave and now he's gotta pull you over and do everything again.

Not defending the cop, and had you been issued a fine or something, I would bring it up in court that you weren't on a public roadway and he never saw you break the law.

With all that said, I am still very curious about the whole running plates/tags to see if you are insured.
The program that shows current insurance status is TexasSure, its not updated in real time. HE said his insurance was only days expired, it may not have been updated.

I see your point in the rest of your post, but I still would politely protest if I was walking out of a store and was written a citation. But again, his posts confused me.

Not sure who all there were. Multiple people went ahead and did that along side the road as well.

I do know pyrobug51 was one of them right after freeway entry from hooters.

I met the dude that took the pics from the overpass. He mentioned he was a hobby photographer and something about trixxle.com. I see this on there.

http://trixxle.com/m/photos/browse/a.../owner/trixxle

It looks more like a teaser, perhaps we have to sign up for the site?

Hopefully he will come on here and provide the pics.

I bet the wheels alone are worth more than most people would spend on a nice used bike.
Thanks

Had a great time yesterday. Great weather for the ride.
