Was a good ride until Galveston LEO decided to fk with me and a few others because calls were coming in saying "sport-bike riders" were disturbing the peace for revving their bikes at the gas station. Thing was, I was INSIDE the gas station getting some stupid fkn beef jerky and was NO WHERE NEAR MY BIKE.

LEO asks for license and proof of insurance - pulled out my insurance card and the fkn thing says it expired in February - mind you I HAVE INSURANCE however, I neglected to put the NEW INSURANCE CARD in my Wallet. *How many fkn days are we into March?!* So LEO goes on to say "well, I should tow your bike but I'm just going to issue you a "citation" - just mail the new proof of insurance in and it wont go on your record, blah, blah, blah." Dude was acting like he was doing me a favor for being "less of a " in his eyes.

Just irritated that I get a citation on a "technicality" because LEO wants to dig deeper after getting a call on disturbing the peace for which I had nothing to do with. Ruined the rest of my afternoon man.

Yeah cops were dicks but left us alone for the most part. They were just pissy cause the troopers couldnt get us speeding on the highway cause WE WERE doin the speed limit. It was funny seein cops we past radioin down the road to set up more radars to try and catch us. Then we get to Galveston obeyin the law and Galveston PD was that all of a sudden 150+ motorcycles roll up on them without then knowin in advance and takin over their city. It was funny to see them as soon as we hit the seawall the cops all jumped on their bikes and cars and was like frantically haulin around like they were preparin for a raid, then realizin there was nothin to harass people over lol Fukin up-tight Police

looks like a good time. Very nice pics!!! I'm sure ya'll had better weather than the ride I led for 100 miles taking the backroads to G-town in the middle of June. lol

Let the guy riding with no M class be a lesson to others. There's a reason they make you get it....even though I think it's a kinda cheesey test. the cops towed his bike though...when I got caught with no M at the ripe age of 17...cop was nice enough to let me walk/get a ride and have someone else with a lic. come pick it up.

Hope everyone behaved! large group rides can be scary!

So, he walked to your parked bike, asked for insurance and cited you for having an expired card? Or did I miss something?

I noticed two cops that actually went out of their way to help us to the seawall. One cop stopped traffic at a red-light to allow us through, and other allowed me to move into his lane so I could make the final turn to the seawall.

Perhaps, they did it to try and bait us, though. Who knows...

Like I said some cops are cool, they understand that we all are tryin to stay together and arrive safely. But other cops dont even give MC's a chance, they see small headlights, Helmets and Hear exhaust, they instantly think High speed pursuit, Hells Angels, Illegal Stuntin and DMX w/ the RUFF RYDER Crew

Bike was parked - as I was coming out of the store he pulls up just as me a few others were about to leave (almost entire group had already left). He steps outta the car, gives us a "hold it right there" gesture and proceeds to give us the "sport-bike-rev-complaint-story."

After lecturing us, he then decides to ask us for our vehicle information etc - and that's when he notices the date on the card.
