Sneak Preview...

Finished the motor the other day, thought I'd post up a lil' peak...
ScooterTrash did a nice job on the bolts and clutch cover (as well as the frame, sub-frame, swing arm, triple trees, bars, pegs, and other little parts.) Thank you again Mr. Tim.

Basically, all that's left that hasn't been powdercoated or painted is the pipe, suspension, and the wheels. The radiators, carb and brakes are still in the booth. I'll add some pics of the frame and such in a bit...

This bike was effin' filthy when I started!!!! It needed a lot of love so I decided when I pulled the motor, it was time to freshen up some things.

Here are a few more pics of the motor... I love that clutch cover!

the frame, sub-frame, triples and bars. (yeah, the frame is dirty and I'm not doing it justice by any means with the layer of dust and weak phone pics, but this is just a preview of what's to come...)

This is the KX 250. I didn't really think about documenting my progress on this project until it started turning out a little better than I thought would... so I figured I'd get pictures of it looking good before I go and **** it all up!

Obviously, it was Kawi green, green plastics, N-style graphics, green and black gripper seat, pro circuit pipe and silencer, renthal sprocket, Fly bars/risers, nothing you haven't seen before, just DIRTY, greasy and slightly neglected.
