Dang it....... NOT AGAIN

ok so I have this issue with my Kx60........ that issue being i ride it a lil rough and keep curb checking the from wheel and popping the tube. Well everytime this happens it costs me like $30 to get it swtiched out for me at Mainland cycle. Th tube it self only runs like $15. How hard is it to replace this tube myself and save me some green for other things on this machine? Any help would be great!

You want that answer on a number scale or letter scale?

Seriously, it isn't rocket science but on the other hand if all you have to work with is a screwdriver and a 2 by 4, it aint gonna be easy.
A couple of tire spoons, a little soapy water and some boards to keep the rim, brake or sprocket off the floor, and about 20 minutes is all you need.

That size tire isn't that bad. Invest in a set of long tire irons and a set of short tire irons. Wouldn't hurt to grab some extra tubes as well until you get it down. It's similar to changing a bicycle tire tube, just alot thicker.

OR

stop curb checking your tire! haha

Most any cycle shop or Cycle Gear. My advice is get the short ones. The long ones have more leverage than you need and they interfere with the hub area anyway.

cycle gear sells "double tough" tubes. thicker than your normal tube. Might help.
