Headlight out, bulb not the problem...

so my left headlight is out. I bought a new bulb and replaced it but its still out. Could it be the fuse?

Electrical problems can be hard to diagnose.
Are the wires in the connector OK?
Have you checked all the other connections?
Are fuses good?
Was the old bulb burned out or is it OK?

You sure high beam works both sides? When you have the high beam on the low beam stays on

when the fuse it out for the headlights, both do not work. so fuse it outta the question, check and make sure the connection is connected fully. look for splices in the wiring too, or corrosion.

yeah, when the high beams are on, one is brighter than the other. When the low beams are on, only the right side works. I don't get it.

LoL. Yes, thats the way it works. My R6 is the same way. One side is ONLY low beam, the other side is ONLY high beam. Off the top of my head, I don't know which side is which.

If you're adventurous, you should check the FZ forums. I'm sure there are mods that you can do to get hi/lo in both sides. Most commonly referred to as "dual headlight"
