I think you're biker has become self-aware and has developed some sort of self-preservation instinct and thus will not allow you to ride at speeds beyond your ability. :-)

Do you have full turn of the throttle from the control drum? Or does it stop?

...if you dont: your cable may be pinched or the tunnel is messed up.

...if you do: continue looking into the bike.

Right side damaged? Check the TPS sensor under the fairing that was damaged, make sure its ok.

Check the pump.

Is it surging at 3k or it simply wont accelerate further? Popping? Intake/Exhaust?

Easiest way to check control is to watch the throttle butterflies by turning the throttle and making sure you have full range of motion.

If you hit that hard, its likely the forks need to be straightened in relation to the triples by loosening and tweeking the upper and lower together.

Hope you're doing ok; hands and arms arent easily replaceable.
yes i can turn the throttle all the way.
Upon further inspection i noticed that it got smashed a little but not enough to were that would be the problem.
Its not surging it just wont go past 3k it almost sounds like its getting too much gas.
the forks seem a little off to. today ill be tearing it down and getting it ready for paint and will go over every thing.
thank you for your concerns man

and to the rest of you calling me a newb i have raced motercross and been around bikes before i could even ride them.
i was just having a very bad day and wasnt in the right mindset to be out riding.
and all the rude comments are not needed, when i have more exp then alot of you. well karmas a ***** and youll get yours

Carbs usually have a problem w air leaks, not fuel.

Too much air being pulled in after the carb somewhere would cause the engine to choke since its not being compensated for by gas.

Let us know what you find, Im curious.

8 years experience... been around bikes since before you could ride them (legally or physically?) legally means that you;re in your mid 20's, physically means that you are what... 14... but that can't be the case since you are riding on the street.

it's not how many years though, it's how many miles and with that come's the experience... but not neccessarily the judgement. just be glad you are here to ask the question and that you didn't end up under the wheels of the car
