Hey Everyone....still John here......wow reading this thread brings tears to my eyes. First off let me say I have never forgotten any one of you and I know Matt hasn't either. Not gonna mention names cause you all know who you are and we miss you all the same. Seeing the pic of Matt and Matt hurts alot !!!!! I phuken miss that guy Myself, Rose and Matts family would like to thank everyone for the messages, and calls of good wishes and offers of help. What we know so far......Matt has undergone several major needed surgeries. Has many more to come. He was wearing gear but apparently jacket didnt do much. Most of the damage is all on one side of his body which is severe rash and broken bones. Shattered Pelvis, internal organs are extremely enlarged and everything is out of place. If swelling goes down they are going to try and operate on thursday on the pelvis and internal organs. He has been conscious on and off and has tried to speak but can't do too injuries received. But as best can tell he is semi coherent and no brain damage. Matt is in Ben Taub..he is in critical condition in the ICU. THEY WILL NOT LET YOU SEE HIM !!!! Once he is allowed visitors I will let you all know. Please feel free to send cards etc......What I know about the accident.......very little........still trying to find out more details with little cooperation....appears he hit a car aprox a block away from his house going home. That is all I know about the accident nothing more !!!! Will post up when I know more. I would like to ask Jet if he doesn't mind to start a fund for Matt and his family. Jet please call me or txt me if this is ok or not ?? If not is totally understood please dont feel compelled. Thanks again to all of you for everything and please keep praying for him he still has a very long way to go. Sorry I forgot....if you'd like to send things to the hospital his full name is Matt Denuve

I never met the guy, but reading that last update was a bit hard.
I really hope this dude pulls through.

We're crossing our fingers and sending positive thoughts his way.

Get better soon man!

Not the same guy...Matt lives off hwy 6....Sorry everyone for such a late update but I've been working extremely long days. Here goes up till now....he is still in ICU...He has a broken clavical, Broken chest plate, 8 broken ribs, dislocated arm, internal bleeding from bladder, entire pelvis was shattered. And of course the injuries mentioned earlier. He underwent 7 hrs of surgery on thursday for his pelvis. He still can't move and has many many surgeries to go. When he gets out of ICU I will let you know. Now.....the question your all wondering....what happened.......Appearently he was on his way home on HWY 6 when a full size van did a u-turn in front of him and then locked on the brakes. He had no where else to go in the time available so ended up slamming in the back of the van. Unfortunately it sounds like his street riding days are over and when he comes out of all of this he will get a dirt bike. Will keep you all posted as things progress. Thanks for your patience.

I'm still new, but I'm sorry to hear about the accident. I just hope I never get into one. I'll be praying for him, and that by some miracle he can ride street cycles again.
