I used to change my oil every other track day when I rode. And then I'd change the filter every other oil change. Never had a problem.

here's how I see it...it's a small expense to pay vs. dropping a new motor because you didn't do it often enough.

every other track day has worked for me, but in your case I'd tell ya an once of prevention is worth more and costs less than a pound of cure

I don't know the break-in intervals on your bike, but it's relatively new so I'd change it

I'd say you are young enough in the engine life to do it now, but after this every other time would def suffice

Every other TD. Also, it depends how hard you're running that engine. If you're really getting on it like Alonzo I would do every track day.

If you're already running synthetic stick with somekind of synthetic oil. I use the cheap regular stuff but change it very often. (Track bike every 2 days, street bikes that are tracked every 500-800 miles MAX).

Every 2-3 trackdays. I read somewhere that changing oil too frequently is actually an issue? Not sure if I believe it, but a lot of times after 2 trackdays the oil is still perfectly clear.

change it now, then every 2k miles. it's a street bike, you're only racking up like 150 miles on the track. I wouldn't put more than 2 trackdays on it, no matter if it's only had 500 miles on the new oil. And remember, there are more contaminants in a new engine, so definitely change your filter this time.

Do you have the black 1125R with the glowing rear header?

One of my trackday buddies is a former multitime WERA endurance and sprint champion. He only changes his oil once per season. Never had an issue.
His view is that, as stated in earlier post, your only racking up 150 miles per trackday so why change the oil so much?
Just puttin' that out there as an alternative view.

On the other hand I change mine every 2nd or 3rd, because as stated in earlier post, oil is cheap, engines are expensive.
