titanium is toxic , when welding, gives off a number of diff gases , and most titanium comes out of russia !

just some useles info !

I can weld steel and aluminum with mig, and stick welder (anybody can stick weld anyway) and I'm fixing to learn to weld stainless steel.

But that titanium welding is better left to the welding gods.

pretty sweet welds

you can do it in a chamber of inert gas(argon) or some guys use an additional hose attached to their tig torch. either way, you wanna let the material cool of in an inert atmosphere so i doesn't have inclusions.
when i had a shop that was open to the public, i would use an old sandblasting cabinet to weld Ti. honestly, it's one of the easiest materials i've ever touched...the stuff manipulates like a pool of molten glass.
HRC has got their doodoo together on that exhaust. they probably plasma weld it.
