I rode to Starbucks near my house to study. Does that count? I did see a Can-Am Spyder and Honda Gold wing there as I was leaving.

Yeah i was about to say you kinda overshot the forest a bit-saw ya'll pull into the Citgo at Burton just as we were pulling out. We were riding with the Triumph group today-some new guys that have never been on 390, they had a great time and were grinning ear-to-ear. Then picked up the back side of 3090 and back down to T-ball, Cypress, and Katy. Good day to be out-would have been better without so much wind though. Cali-nice to see the new bike-looks purdy!

Was a fun ride.

I need some tires I trust and enough room to keep my speed up in the corners. If I have to slow down from other riders it takes waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to long to speed back up w the rumblebee... lol.

And I dont remember Phoenix being so fast before.... Good going girl!!!! Did that lil tip help w the rest of the ride? I forgot to ask after 390 before I split....

Yeah she had a nice pace going. Sorry if I was holding you up, was trying not to get into anyone's way. Trying to ride anchor with you for awhile. Was going to keep it mellow until I get to know those roads, I prefer keepin the sticky side down.

Not at all.

Hope the rest of the ride went well. I have a limited top speed lol.

I'd recommend accelerating out of corners instead of slowing down. That's why I mentioned that mid ride w everyone.

Have we actually been on a ride before? (Buffalo Wild Wings to the dance hall doesn't count!)
Thanks for the tips... I'm still working on getting my confidence in the curves back up and those stock Dunlops don't help!

And I was concerned that y'all probably wanted to go faster.

Sticky side side is WAY better than the alternative!

I couldnt for the most part.

I tried to keep distance so I could maintain my top speed through corners cuz if people braked I was doomed for the next minute catching up

When you're the leader, ride at whatever speed you want. If they want to pass, let them.

How was the ride back?

The forest is my favorite and I usually ride during the week. Lemme know if you'd like a tour.

Yeah... I was thinking about that the whole time too. Geez! There's alot of pressure being the leader!

I wanted to chill out on the ride back, but that didn't happen.
The Yamaha's continued down 1774 from Anderson and the forest was a bit chilly and damp, but I really had a good time.
