HAHA This is MotoHouston and you expected to start a thread and get a real response? You will get a few good one but there is so many keyboard road racers on here you have to wade thru alot of to get to it.

Shit happens, man. You got your bike to a quality shop and they should sqaure it away. I loved the outta my '04 1000, even had the Mladin edition with all the go-fast stickers until some dude wrecked me and totalled it out.

I cant wheelie for , even on my 1000, but I would still suggest practicing clutching it up, from everything Ive heard from people that actually know how to ride and wheelie, clutch ups are WAY WAY safer and more controllable.
So many things could jack you up with a power-up. Just think, you had a pinched header. At least the power, even though bogged down, was still fairly linear. Imagine if the bog came in spurts and you were powering up a wheelie...its coming up smooth, then the power bogs and the front starts to dip, then the power comes back on and your on your back watching your GSXR carthwheel down the road.

We're harsh here, thats for sure. But I would say that none of us want to see you wad it up.
Thats just my .02.
Glad youre getting your problem squared away

Bring it down south and let ZXALAN ride it. I'm sure he can tell you if anything is wrong with it.
