fellow Biker needs your help

This is off of the Texas Harley Riders list. If you can help in any way, even if it to just forward to a church or anybody that may offer some help in any way, please do.

On May 15tn. Jerry Thorton was T-boned by a pickup on Old Dibol hwy near Hwy 59 south at Lufkin, Tx. His right leg was broken in 3 places, pelvis crushed, 10 broken ribs, and various ofther injuries. He had just gotten his Harley a few hours before and was out trying it out. One of his sisters called me tonight and asked if I could help them. They need anyone who can to donate blood at Herman Hospital or anywhere in the Houston area in the name of Jerry E. Thornton, and they need financial help as well.
His sister Claudia Thornton is sleeping in her car in parking garage 4 at Herman hospital so someone can be near and be there daily for him. The family pooled what little money they had at the time the Care Flight was taking him to Houston and Claudia took off down there, we don't know if she still has money for meals etc.She does have a borrowed cell phone, # 936-240-0269, but please keep time to a minimum as the family don't have funds for a large phone bill.
Jerry is in ICU or Step Down at Herman ???? hospital, Claudia is at the waiting area much of the day
Anyone who might be able to help can email me at peanutwhistle@valornet.com or call me at 936-422-4567 and I will see that the family gets your assisatance or give you the pho. # of the sister here in Lufkin (she is on Dialysis 3 days a week so you can probably get in touch with me easier). OR you can mail any doantions to me and I'll see that they get it.

Servants of Christ mm's motto is "Bikers there for bikers when they need the Lord", but I feel so helpless in this case. My finances are in a bind right now and I can't give blood, but I do have a large number of email addresses, so that's why you are getting this. I've prayed that the Lord would guide me in this endeavor that I was called upon to do. Please at least pray for Jerry and all the family.
All of you who recieve this are prayed for daily here at Servants of Christ mm.
