it still boggles my mind on how they get away with so much.

Just a few days ago I had to step in their hole and they had a 99 R1, with like, 20k miles, for sale for 10k.
But enough offtopic, I hope everyone gets their bikes back

It's worth it. A friend and I pay $46.50/mo. for liability, fire, wind and theft. My old insurance company wanted 120-130 for the same coverage. Definatly check Pete out. He's the State Farm guy under the sponsors. I've had a few friends check him out, and every one either has switched, or is about to because they save so much money.

I will have to do that. Last time I checked up with state farm, I had a perfect record, MSF, drivers ed (if it matters), I mean, I have the poster child of a perfect record, and the bitched wanted to charge me 800 for 6 months, while my friend, same age, with no msf, and a faaar from good record was paying 500 for a year in progressive.
When I mentioned that to her, she got really rude and said im a liar and a young kid on a sport bike, and because of that I will for sure do something stupid. Never checked back after that.

How often are CBRs stolen? This kind of scares me so bad, I want out of houston.
I've had two trucks stolen since I moved here way back in the late eighties. One was recovered stripped. The other, which I had just restored, was not. That hurt because I had only liability on it at the time. I also had the airbags removed one night as our car was parked in the driveway. After being ripped off for the second time I stopped worrying so much about it. I did what I could within my means to keep it from happening but if they want something bad enough they will take it. This was pre-Lojack obviously. LoJack is impressive but I wonder how long it will be before the thieving c____ksuckers will figure out a way to defeat that. With the amount of money being made stealing cars, bikes, etc., you know there is some smart S.O.B. out there already working on a way to overcome Lojack/RFID.
