ok well i went in there and tried to buy an 04 r6 it had i think a lil over 7k miles on it and alot of sratches... and the pipe was all f-ed up they wouldnt go any where below $8000 all i asked for was a helmet and a jacket and i was going to give them 7k cash money and they wouldnt even bargain... so i was like f yall!!! i knew that 7k was still way too much... but in my past they are no good to do business with and i am sorry i have to say that...

the 250ninja i had i got for like 3200 out the door....we went by there to see what trade in value would be...they said they'd take it off our hands for like 1600....it was an 05 250...2-3k miles...no scratches...and had neons...there a joke

It just proves that noob naive riders get taken to the bank. Once you grow and gain knowledge of the sport you figure out where to shop. Stubbs has had a reputation like that for a long time. And you can't really blame the employees. I know for a fact cause I am good friends with a few of them. I also know the man that married the daughter of the owner and it is all owner driven. It is based off of the old rich man with a Harley mentality. 90% of the Harley riders are in it to fit in (scooter is a 10%er). They have money and don't spend time researching the best prices on the most part. They just want the part now. But when motorcycling becomes someones hobby/sport, one starts to look into things like value, price, performance and service.

I've tried to give Eximports a chance in the past as well. I used to get my stuff from Stubbs at a discount rate or Cyclegear with my racers support discount.
