They also fugked up Don's Vmax when changing the back brakes.

he wrecked his bike and messed up I think the brake or Clutch lever($25), cracked the engine cover($60) and something that had to do with his brakes.. dont remember. I think he said he spent close to $1,000 when it was all said and done and the wreck was really minor.

well, i wouldn't blame any shop for that.........it's easy to see the cosmetic stuff, but once you start tearing into it........you get a better picture.

no it wasnt that bad. i quoted him a price from ron ayers for the parts he boke and it totaled $140 and was easy to replace. since 99blackR1 was new to the bike scene he was innocent and got raped. they charged me $270 for a tire and mount (wheel on the bike) back in 2002. a dunlop 207, too.:BangHead:

After my first encounter with Eximports I would like to see what it is that pays the bills around there. Me, my money, and my bike are not needed around there, and they have pretty much told me as much. I have been back a couple of times and am made to believe that they are special and I should be grateful that they would consider dealing with me. I'd still like to know how they keep the lights on.

and yes, it seems no matter who you think is your friend in the business... they just look at you as dollar signs.... i have my own experiece from both shops... and i have no comment!!!!!
