I've been by there before (before they moved into the new location), no one pulled a gun on me to go there, to walk in or to buy anything. Yeah, they're expensive and according to some on here they have heavy handed tactics. Nothing that you don't see on any car dealer's lot. They're there to bleed you for every dime they can. It's the American way of doing business in this land. What bike dealership gives away their wares? Who really can say that they care about their customers so much that they cut better deals than other dealerships?

I walked out of a dealership because when I wanted to buy my Busa they wouldn't sell me one unless I bought an extended warranty too. I knew I was going to mod my bike and that would kill any warranty, let alone wasting my hard earned cash on an extended warranty.

Personally I wouldn't buy a bike from there, but that's because I can get a better deal somewhere else on a new bike. If you can too then you're blessed but there are those out there that get raped to ride 2 wheels. We all do what we can with what we have.

Took my v-max there a few years back to get the rear tire changed out. I had the rubber and it was one of a few places open on a monday. Trailered.
get the bike home, next day ride to work, brakes are dragging REAL bad. come to find out they put the spacer on the axle on the wrong side of the rear brake bracket putting the brakes in a bind on the rotor. Now HOW hard is it to pay a LITTLE bit of attention on what u are doing.
Because of that i now change out my own tires.
I also inquired with a salesman on a ninja 250 they had, bout 10K miles and about 3 years old and had a few scratches from being dropped. they wanted i think $2750 for it when a new one was i think $2800. asked the guy if he knew what the MSRP of a new one was he said NO. I told that I did and left.
My only 2 times in dealing with them.

isn't a trade in considered a used bike.?
you sound like someone that has gotten turned down by a company that is known to finance anyone and now your . Its not their fault you suck at money management and put yourself in the catagory that makes even THEM scared to front you at high interest rates. man, that must suck horribly to be you, thats all I'm saying.
Not , just pointing out basic business factoid.
straighten your credit up, and buy things in life at YOUR price. another factoid.

I was in there years ago and walked because the pricing was too high. They fill a niche though and that's why they are in business still. Everyone has an opinion. Exxon is evil, Ex-Import is evil, Starbucks is evil, etc., etc, but people work there and the majority of them are good. If you work someplace and the experience is bad then leave. If you go into a business and you don't like the atmosphere, leave. Like someone mentioned, if you got bad credit and you are being charged double digit interest that's because you are a risk. Ex-Import and others love you because they make so much off you.
Nothing personal, it's just business is one of my favorite right behind "There's no freinds in business". At the end of the day it's all about how much the buyer values what you're selling not how much it cost you to produce.
