eximport will be around as long as there are people willing to pay to play. They provide a service to the community, and they do it well IMO. Would i buy a bike from them, doubt it, but i wouldn't knock them for doing what they do either.

+1...to RacerX and Jet....a business is a business period. I'm sure most of us would not buy a bike from there....

but their niche is for people who cant get financed "and want to play"...and for the otherwise "gotta get it now" types who dont know any better...

"Business is business" or "Its just business, nothing personal". I always loved those two lines. Some truth to it but you have to have a conscious at some point. Ken Lay and Jeff Skilling and their minions are probably rethinking their attitude:icon_smil With that said, I heard nothing but negative comments about Ex-Imports. I was in there years ago and walked because the pricing was too high. They fill a niche though and that's why they are in business still. Everyone has an opinion. Exxon is evil, Ex-Import is evil, Starbucks is evil, etc., etc, but people work there and the majority of them are good. If you work someplace and the experience is bad then leave. If you go into a business and you don't like the atmosphere, leave. Like someone mentioned, if you got bad credit and you are being charged double digit interest that's because you are a risk. Ex-Import and others love you because they make so much off you.

there will always be a "Right Hand Man" at every business, it just so happens that Carlos is that at Eximport. If you dont like the deal there, go somewhere else. No sense in badmouthing for three days. It's your money, spend it where you want to.

I do have to hand it to them on the Track day org. it was an excellent set up for sure. Maybe thats the only good thing they have going for them. but not for me to judge for all. just my opinion. I was gonna buy from them a couple years ago but didn't like the deal so i left w/o the bad mouthing..

Exactly! Venting or purging of the soul to other people helps temporarily. Does nothing to get anything resolved. I have come to a point in my life where if I don't like the service I'm getting I let the people in charge know. Even if its in a business dealing at work and the person I dealt with doesn't want or can't help, then I take it up the ladder but I do it tactfully. Most of the time is gets resolved. If not, at least they know. At the same time, if there are cases where I got exceptional service I will send an email or a little note to that person and their boss letting them know that I appreciate the service I received.

True, but it's the consumer's fault.

Stupidity is a choice.

I bought a helmet and a jacket from them back in November. Prices were typical for a retail store. They had to order the helmet and I got it in about a week. No problems.
