Good question/ point, the buyer is clearly at fault because the seller can only sell if someone is buying. If people weren't buying they would either lower prices or close the doors. This is capitalism and economic theory at work. It is just a shame people get in over their head by essentially entering debters prison many times just to be cool.

i agree, but it's not eximports fault........they are in the business of making $. if people are stupid enough to be "taken" by them., that's their own fault. esp. on a luxury item such as a bike.

go see Carlos!!

if people REALLY want a bike THAT BAD, and have BAD credit....what are they to do? They will buy from them. Think of it as the offer a service that no one in town offers (guranteed financing, at the cost of high intrest)

I dont hate on them, they offer a way for people to ride that wouldnt be abke to ride any other way. And like racerx says, they make used bikes like new. Im sure the reliability of these bikes are just as good if not better than say... "jj's"

When i was looking for my bike I checked out eximports first and the guy was going to charge me to do a credit check. I walked right out and straight over to Houston Motorsports and bought my R6. They lost a sale just like that. I go every now and then to look at gear, but I'd never buy a bike from them.

you think checking a credit check is free? it cost them, you wonder how many looky loo's they have come by w/ bad credit, but still want a bike.......i bet a hella lot of people. they are in the business of making $, financing a bike takes GREAT credit, if you don't have it, don't waste their time trying to see if it'll fly, cuz it won't. seperates the wannabe's from the real buyers.

btw, i bet if you do end up buying the bike, the $30 is absorbed into the sale cost.

I believe eximport used to be more loose about there pricing before they moved, not to say their prices were still not outrageous, but since they moved they have climed to a whole new level. I walked in the other day just to check them out, and they had like 10 bike to choose from and horrible service. You would think when someone walks into your store with a suit on, you would get some attention. I got zero.
