I bought my bike from them, but whoever said it, nailed it on the head:

I'm 21, married, been tryin to get a bike since I was 16, and someone finally said yes.

I'm pretty confidet I got taken, but I'm riding.....To some it might seem dumb as , but to me I'm on 2 reliable wheels, and happy.

i don't generally get on a soap box but eximports irritates me on a moral level

i had the same experience as you all, in fact we went through the barter stage on an R6 and on the second iteration of our negotiations they actually came back with a higher number ($7400) than in the first round ($7200) ... the only thing I could do was laugh at them because they did know it ... morons

eximports is nothing but a bunch of bottom dwelling thieves victimizing young, naive (or both) people by feeding on their desire to ride driving people into the vicious circle of high interest consumer debt

besides that I have no feelings on the matter

ive heard lots of bad things....mostly that they sell wrecked bikes....but the good thing is they will finance anyone....they are a last resort for anyone that REALLY wants a bike....but their prices are rediculous....leslie went up there a couple of days ago and found an 02 R1 with 8000 miles for a 8900 dollar price tag....the chronicle has an 05 raven r1 right now with 2000 miles and some extra's for 10g's.....

Here is another way to look this. The following is based on a $7000 loan amount over 5 years. Take away is that you are going to pay $4400 of interest payments on a loan of $7000 for a bike that is most likely not worth the price paid before you drive it off the lot needless to say after some mileage is put on or it is layed down.

# Pmts 60
Loan Amount $7000
Interest Rate 21%
Mo Payment $189/ mo
Total payments $11,362

Interest paid $4,362
