Clark- what do you know about these things? You had a KDX220, right? Lots of torque? Kinda been toying with the idea of picking up something for the wife....probably too much, huh?

Yeah, I had a 220. They are GREAT trailbikes, not racebikes but dont tell Jeff Fredette that. Very easy to ride, 6sp, soft seat, TONS of parts and upgrades. I wanted to find a good KX125 roller and swap the motor into it as the chassis/suspention is what limits this bike. It would be a great wife bike, and I would still have one if they didn't make a 200 in orange. It doesn't rev like your 250 and will require less maintaining. I also had an 89 aircooled kdx that I rode regularly for over 2 years without a top-end.

Danny, you can fit kx plastic on it to freshin it up. The UFO plastic is what you want because it's not pre drilled. Kx front and rear fender. It looks like that bike already has at least a front end swap, I don't remember them ever comeing with upside down forks. It's pretty common to swap better forks.

I LOVE my KDX 220 ! ! ! ! Its fun to ride and has really good power. Can't go wrong with a KDX. I found mine in my uncles barn which had been sitting there for more than 4 years. I drained the carb and put some new fuel and 4 kicks later it started right up .
