Need advice about a 50!

I know nothing about em and was just wondering if this is a good deal. Its 1992 Z50R running and everything works. Guy wants 400 for it. Buy or pass?

woah woah, back up.. There is a HUGE aftermarket for those things for both stock and aftermarket parts.. That's basically the same exact engine from back in the late 70's and 80's models.

Finding ANY part for those bikes are cake..

Don't worry, scrot. There are plenty of 'tards out there living really kick- lives.

If your looking to stunt the 50 i would go with an xr or crf (same bikes, only difference is years made, model name, and plastics).

the xr/crf have a single rear spring in stead of the double springs on the older model bikes. Thats my only concern with a z50.

The Z50 is the crf50's older brother amd just as reliable and fun to ride. For 400 bucks I would definetly buy it. There is definetly a good aftermarket following so parts are available. As far as stunt riding it should be fine, the suspension is just a little outdated, but it has bigger wheels and tires so this makes things a little better for adults. I would definetly buy it.

Don't misinform if you don't know what you're talking about please!
Z50's are more durable than xr/crf's and EVERY part is available. . .I wouldn't trade my Z for a CRF. . .

Still sitting there untouched. . .needs $50 worth of cables (extended throttle and brake) to go with the big bars. I might drag it out and fix it up soon. . .

I didn't realize the z50 was a honda and the predecessor to the crf50.

It's all good. I've got a '91 z50 (for my girl to ride) and It's way more comfortable to ride than my xr50 cuz of that seat. I love both bikes, i just ride my XR more becuase i have the tall bar kit and rear handbrake on it.

Even though i have 2 honda 50's already, i'd still go buy another if a good deal came buy like this. I'd even prefer to get another older z50 like this one.

They are the !
