not only that, but when we had that rule for sale threads would automatically be whored up by post count comments.

"you dont have enough posts to sell yo shyt"

or

"hey, at least this guys has enough posts to sell his shyt"

In the Yamaha forums, you have to be a member for at least 60 days active before selling anything. Maybe that would work over a min post count number. For 2 months, people will start to know who you are.... my 2 cents.

LoL, I agree there is always room for improvement with the forum rules, both classifieds and general forum. There is a suggestion link on the forum home page but be warned, only admins get the PM's from that. I revamped the for sale rules, some with the help of many other forums and some specific for MH, a while back. I personally hate restrictions on when you can sell, coincidentally, I sell a lot of ! There are hacks to automatically deny someone from selling their items in the classifieds section if they don't meet certain requirements. What happens now? People begin posting their items in other sections of the forum. It is a give/take relationship, we have to give up some luxuries, such as having only participating members selling, in order to enjoy others like finding that great deal on a bike or whatever it is they are selling.
